ABOUT THE POSITION

As a radio engineer, you will work with robust communication solutions in a laboratory environment or at the customer's site. You will be involved in testing, evaluation, and development of systems, from requirements specification to integration and support. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues and customers, where you contribute to strengthening Sweden's defense and security.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

The role involves working with advanced radio communication systems, from design and testing to integration and maintenance, with a focus on security and functionality.

  • Testing and evaluation of communication systems.
  • Design and development of test equipment for hardware and software.
  • Support and service of implemented systems at the customer.
  • Requirements specification, verification, and integration of system solutions.
  • Technical assistance, operational support, and maintenance of systems.
  • Work with Software Defined Radio and IT security.
  • Measurement and control of software as well as work in technical labs.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has knowledge in radio communication or a similar technical field.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work.
  • Has a strong technical interest and good technical understanding.
  • Is available for business trips that may occur in the role.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Education in electronics, electrical engineering, or a similar technical field.
  • Experience from working within the Armed Forces or defense industry.
  • Knowledge of wave propagation, antenna technology, or measuring equipment.
  • A valid driver's license (B).
